Support Tami Neumann's Road to Recovery

Hi everyone, I am writing this on behalf of our witty, gregarious, and funny friend, Tami Neumann. She began to feel ill on the evening of Friday, July 26th, which landed her in the ER the following day due to intense vomiting and headache. After a few days of going in and out of the hospital ER and her symptoms progressively getting worse, she was finally admitted and within 10 minutes she collapsed and went unconscious.

The doctors rushed her into surgery where it was discovered that she had a brain hemorrhage and a stroke. Since then, Tami has spent her days in the ICU trying to get some relief from her intense pain, while also trying to regain her ability to speak and hear clearly. Her doctors had stated at that time she was a particularly difficult case and it would take some time to solve the puzzle. She has been through almost daily MRI’s or CAT scans, 2 angiograms, several spinal taps, along with hourly neurological checks for them to be able keep a close eye on her progress whether good or bad.

In the last few days she was also diagnosed with meningitis type symptoms which has at least provided a course of antibiotics that has relieved some of her symptoms, but unfortunately Tami still has a long road ahead.

Tami does not have health insurance so this is going to be an immense expense for her to overcome. I am trying raise at least several months of living expenses for rent, bills, and pet care so she can solely focus on her recovery.

She does have good days, but we have witnessed her having a visit one day and then dealing with intense pain several days afterwards. She also has a sensitivity to light and sound so it’s best to keep it quiet as of now. Tami is a tough chick and I know she will overcome this hurdle but any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated.
