Tami Hall had a stroke in August, and recently she has had several mini-strokes. She also had a blockage in her neck that doctors were able to surgically correct. This has resulted in her spending quite a bit of time in the hospital and rehab facility. She has a long recovery ahead of her for Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy, Memory Therapy and Cognitive/Comprehension Therapy. This recovery could possibly take years to achieve 90% to 100% positive results. Each mini stroke or full stroke sets her back in her recovery process.
Her right arm, hand and shoulder have been greatly impacted, and it will require lots of therapy to regain control of the arm, hand and shoulder. Her memory, cognitive, comprehension and speech have also been impacted. You may not be aware but a stroke can also affect the person's emotions or emotional responses.
While attending to her medical needs, her monthly bills still have to be paid. It is our goal to help pay her rent, electric, food, doctor, and phone bills. She will also need get to appointments but is not allowed to drive right now. She may have to use Uber and other transportation services of the like. She is not currently able to work.
Susan Grimmer-Potter (Lil Bit), Audrey Miller-Rathjen (Shortcut) and Sonny Hyde are teaming up to help with the day-day things that need to be attended to. You are welcome to contact us with any questions.
Over the years, Tami has helped so many people. Now, Tami needs our help. I know it is the Christmas Season. Perhaps, you can spare $5.00, $10.00 or $20.00 as a holiday gift to help Tami Hall. It does not need to be a large amount of money, only what you can spare for someone who has helped with so many fundraisers for other people. And it is tax deductible. She has washed bikes and cars to raise money for others. She has helped at events selling tickets. She has entertained us by singing Karaoke. Is it really that hard to help her a little bit now??
Please donate to help pay these bills. A big thank you to those who have donated already.
*Please do not hand money directly to Tami.
Contact Susan Grimmer-Potter for questions about donations.
Thank you so very much for helping.
