My name is Tami, and I am a trans woman living in Texas. I’m reaching out because I’m going through a tough time right now. I work as a DoorDash driver, and my car is essential for me to earn a living. Recently, I took my car to the shop for brake repairs, but unfortunately, the job was done incorrectly. Now, I need a complete rear end brake job to get back on the road safely. The repair costs are more than I can manage on my own at the moment.

On top of that, I’m also short on rent this month. I need to come up with the remaining amount by January 3rd to avoid falling behind. It’s been stressful trying to juggle these unexpected expenses while making sure I can keep working and stay in my home. Being a trans woman in Texas adds extra challenges and stress, but I’m doing my best to keep moving forward.

This money will be used to both pay rent and to fix my car.
