Tamara, my wife, is the heart of our family and a beloved member of the Waste Management team in Maple City.She also works part time at Pinestead Reef Resort. Her customers aren’t just people dropping off their trash or checking in-they’re like family to her, and she’s always gone out of her way to make sure they feel cared for. Even when she was hospitalized for a month and off an additional month, her biggest concern was whether her customers were being taken care of and if they needed someone to talk to. That’s just the kind of person she is—always putting others first.

Since September, Tamara has been in and out of the hospital, facing a series of health challenges that have turned our world upside down. She’s had to undergo a hysterectomy, and now doctors have found something on her ovary that requires more tests, scans,MRI’s and treatments. The physical toll has been immense, but the emotional and financial strain has been just as heavy. Our insurance is out of network, and the deductible is high. We’ve nearly met our deductible for the year, but the bills keep coming, and Tamara’s ongoing medical needs mean more time away from work. As the bills stack up, it’s become harder to keep up—not just medically, but financially and emotionally, too.

Tamara is usually the one who keeps everything together for our family, but right now, she needs help. The support from this fundraiser will go directly toward her treatments, tests, and medical bills, giving her the chance to focus on healing—physically and mentally.
