Whether it was at Waste Management or Pinestead Reef Resort, Tamara always treated her customers like family. Now, she is fighting the battle of her life, and her family is at a breaking point. Since September, Tamara’s health has declined rapidly. Following a hysterectomy and ongoing tests for her ovaries, she is now battling constant pain, tremors, and a loss of short-term memory that requires intensive cognitive and physical therapy. Because of the severity of her condition, her husband has stepped away from everything to become her full-time caregiver and look after their children. To be close to the specialists and hospitals she needs, the family has been living out of motels, traveling back and forth between doctors.
