On February 20, 2026, Tamara suffered a devastating fall that changed her life in an instant. She lost her footing, fell forward, and hit her face so hard that she was knocked unconscious for nearly two hours. Despite her serious injuries, she managed to make her way to her neighbors’ home for help. Recognizing the severity of her condition, they immediately called for emergency assistance.
Tamara sustained significant injuries, including a broken nose, broken teeth, and a C5 fracture in her neck. She was rushed into emergency surgery, where doctors performed an extensive eight hour operation. During that time, they successfully completed a C5–C7 cervical fusion and realigned her broken nose.
Since surgery, Tamara has slowly begun to regain function in her hands, something we are incredibly grateful for. However, her recovery journey is far from over. She will require ongoing occupational therapy to relearn basic motor skills, including how to grasp and hold objects again. The road ahead will require patience, strength, and continued medical care.
As Tamara focuses on healing, the financial burden continues to grow. Medical bills, therapy costs, and lost income from time away from work are adding additional stress during an already overwhelming time.
Tamara is a loving mother, sister, aunt, and daughter. She is someone who lights up every room with her warmth and constant smile. Working in the medical field, she has always been the first to show up for others in their time of need. Now, she is the one who needs support.
Tamara would never ask for help herself, but in times like this, we lean on our friends, family, and community. If you are able to give, no amount is too small. Your support will help ease the financial strain and allow Tamara to focus fully on her recovery.
Every donation, share, and prayer means more than we can express. Thank you for standing with my aunt, Tamara, during this incredibly difficult time.
With love,
