Support Tamara's Journey to a Heart Transplant

Hello, my name is Daphnee McDonald. I'm fundraising for a childhood friend/sister of mine by the name of Tamara Williams who is currently facing some critical challenges.

Tamara began experiencing shortness of breath and fatigue constantly. She then decided to go to the ER in regards to these changes and was admitted immediately only to find out she has congestive heart failure. She was later informed that she needed a defibrillator, but her heart was too weak to undergo the surgery. Therefore, she wore a life vest.

Tamara had surgery on June 14, 2023, and had an LVAD placed on her heart after having open heart surgery. We're fundraising as she is no longer able to work, and of course, bills have piled up. She is in need of a heart transplant, but in order for her to have a heart transplant, she must first have bariatric surgery to lose weight. This would be her second surgery of three.

There are fees that need to be paid as there are expenses that have accrued during the process of Tamara being in the hospital. Her life took a turn having to change her daily schedule, with constant Drs appointments, treatments etc.
