About two weeks ago, my best friend suffered a stroke—something incredibly rare at age 23. As a result, she experienced paralysis on the right side of her body and is about to begin an intense rehabilitation process. She is currently in recovery and just started physical and occupational therapy earlier this week.

She is determined to return to running, lifting, and the lifestyle she's worked so hard to build.
