Support Talia's Fight Against Lymphoma
Donation protected
As many of you know, my niece Talia has been at Yale Children’s Hospital for almost 2 weeks. After going through a number of diagnostic tests, she has been diagnosed with a form of Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. While we are shocked and distraught by this diagnosis, we are grateful that the doctors have been able to come up with a treatment plan for Talia.
Talia will be undergoing chemotherapy and she, along with Kim and Felix, have a team of doctors working with them to treat and cure her. Both Kim and Felix will be taking leaves of absence from their jobs. At this time, it is undetermined how long Talia will need treatment. While they both will have some paid time off, that may not cover them for the duration of her treatment.
I am hoping to help relieve this unbelievable burden so that they can focus on Talia's care and treatment without having to worry about financial stress.
Please consider donating if you can. If you are unable to donate or GoFundMe is not your thing, that is OK too. You can help by sharing this link, by donating blood, or by donating a new toy to Yale Children’s Hospital’s Toy Closet.
Anybody who has ever had the pleasure of meeting Talia knows what a special little girl she is. She has been recognized countless times by her teachers as being kind and always inclusive of other children. Not only is she sweet and kind, but she has a fire in her that is going to help her fight this. Over the past 2 weeks she has been so brave and is the strongest little girl I know.
Kim and Felix are grateful and appreciative for the love and support they’ve been shown through these past 2 weeks. We thank you all for your check-ins, well wishes, prayers, support, and love to our sweet Talia Rose
