Support Talia's Fight Against Colon Cancer

Life has a way of throwing unexpected challenges at the most remarkable people. Today, I'm reaching out to our community on behalf of Talia, an extraordinary 31-year-old whose passion for helping others and protecting our environment has touched countless lives.

Many of you know Talia from her dedicated work rehabilitating sea turtles or her regular beach cleanup initiatives. She's the person who shows up first and leaves last, always with a smile and an extra pair of gloves for anyone who wants to join in. When there's work to be done to make our world better, Talia has always been there, bringing her trademark energy and determination to every project she takes on.

Recently, Talia was diagnosed with Stage 3 colon cancer. With the same courage and determination she brings to everything else in life, she's preparing to begin chemotherapy on December 8th. The treatment will be intensive, requiring her to temporarily step back from work and her beloved volunteer activities for at least three to four months.

While Talia faces this challenge with characteristic grace and strength, medical leave during treatment will create an unavoidable gap in her ability to maintain her regular income. This campaign aims to bridge that gap, allowing her to focus her energy where it needs to be - on her health and recovery.
