Following a period of overcoming domestic violence, I (Talia) found solace and support in the kindness of others and a local DV shelter, which enabled me to secure stability for myself and my daughter. This experience ignited a newfound passion within me, leading me to pursue my dream of becoming a social worker to help others in similar situations.

As life unfolded, I welcomed Chelsea and her son into our family, and together, we have weathered numerous obstacles with the unwavering support of our cherished community. However, we now find ourselves facing financial adversity due to unforeseen illness, persistent car issues, and medical emergencies.
