Our dear friend, Talia Shepheard has been diagnosed with stage 4 Colorectal Cancer. She is a single mom to her young son, Kyro and faces a mountain ahead of her with chemotherapy, potential surgery (surgeries) and medical bills in addition to continuing to care for Kyro and her disabled mother.

Talia is kind, smart and an incredible friend and person. While working full-time, she earned her master’s in public health degree from the University of Maryland. She did this while balancing motherhood and being a support system for her family.

We are hoping to lift Talia up and help support the financial burden of her treatment plan so she can focus on battling cancer and her recovery. Even with health insurance, her out of pocket costs will be around $15,000.
