Family and Friends, as many of you have been following the journey of our baby girl Talia Marcie, you know that she has had quite the medical journey. From being born 10 weeks early to her heart defect and now lung and liver issues she continues her stay in the hospital. Her journey has brought us up north to the best children's hospital in the country. We moved into my parents' home and I can't thank them enough for their support and care as Talia's health journey has taken its toll on them as well.
Boston Childrens Hospital has been such a positive force in tackling Talia's very complex medical needs. From procedures to open heart surgery, Talia has shown us how strong of a fighter she is. Her last surgery was a repair to her liver and things seemed like they were finally headed in the right direction. We finally had a discharge date for the first time in her little life. Then she was struck with Covid and she has taken quite a few steps backwards. We no longer have a discharge date and her newest discovery is pulmonary hypertention. As her wonderful team makes a new plan to help this girl get out, we are also asking for help. Due to recent loss of employment, our bills (medical, rent, and auto) have begun to pile up. Thankfully my husband was able to find employment and will begin work soon. Due to Talia still being hospitalized and being a stay at home parent to our son and commuting from Boston to New Hampshire on a weekly basis, I have been unable to work.
We are swallowing our pride and asking for financial help to reduce the stress load and help get our heads above water.
If you would like to know more about Talia's Journey please reach out and I would be more than happy to share.
