Hi, we’re Sinead and Ben, and we’re raising money to help Leroy, an incredible chef from Jamaica who’s been hit hard by the recent hurricane. Since the hurricane, Leroy has unfortunately been out of work. He was a much-loved chef at Jewel Paradise Cove, which is still undergoing renovations. Meeting him and taking his cooking class was one of the highlights of our holiday.

Leroy is looking for support setting up his dream café near Ocho Rios. He’s already got the land and a container ready, but he needs a bit of help to build the café, fit it out, and add a toilet for customers.

The project needs $4,000, and we’re hoping to raise at least £1,000 to get him started, or more if people are able to be generous. Every donation will go directly to helping Leroy rebuild his life and share his love of cooking.
