Support Takiela Walker's Journey Forward

Dear Family and Friends,

I hope this message finds you well. As many of you know, I had the privilege of caring for my grandfather during his terminal illness, fulfilling a promise I made to him. While it was an honor to take care of him full time (resigning from my job in October) this has left me behind financially, particularly with rent & other monthly expenses.

My grandfather embodied love in every aspect of his life, demonstrating that true love requires courage. It takes courage to love when it is difficult, when we are hurt, or when the world tells us to turn away. It takes courage to forgive, to extend grace, and to stand up for what is right, even when we stand alone. But he showed me that without love, there is no courage, and Maya Angelou says without courage you cannot practice any other virtue consistently; love gives us the strength to face our fears, to overcome adversity, and to persevere in faith.

Setting aside pride, feelings of embarrassment, and yes fear, I humbly ask, if you are able, for your support during this time. Any contribution, no matter the size, would be greatly appreciated. Your kindness would help me get back on my feet as I transition forward.
