Help Takia Honor Her Mother’s Final Wishes

My name is Takia, and I am the only child of Rahshonda Whitehead, who passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. Losing my mother has been devastating, and I am now facing the responsibility of laying her to rest while grieving this unimaginable loss.

My mother was a Muslim woman, and it is very important to me to honor her religious beliefs and final wishes. While I initially considered cremation due to financial limitations, cremation is not consistent with Islamic burial practices. I want to ensure that my mother is buried in a way that respects her faith, dignity, and the life she lived.

Unfortunately, my mother had partial life insurance, which only covered a portion of the expenses and does not fully cover burial, funeral, and related costs. As her only child, I am navigating this alone and do not have alternative financial support at this time.

I am humbly asking for help to cover:

• Islamic burial and funeral services

• Cemetery and burial plot expenses

• Transportation and required arrangements

• Outstanding end-of-life costs not covered by insurance
