After a battle with cancer and a brief illness, my beautiful mother, Susan Watanabe, passed away on Saturday, March 1, 2025. Our family is devastated and struggling to navigate a world without her. She had three children with my father, Taka, whom she was married to for 36 years. My dad, who was her full-time caretaker for the last couple years of her life, is understandably completely heartbroken.

On top of that, Taka is stressed about finances and having to return to work. I don't believe he should have to have to start working again so soon after the loss of his wife. I am asking for some financial help from his friends and loved ones so he can take off the time he so desperately needs. Any little bit you can spare will help my dad pay his mortgage and monthly bills while he grieves Susan's death.
