My name is Lashonda, and I am a single mother who has already endured the devastating loss of a child. No parent should ever have to experience that kind of pain. Today, I am facing another unimaginable challenge as my last remaining child, my son Taj, is going through an extremely difficult and overwhelming situation.

While we were actively working to raise funds for legal representation, my son was suddenly arrested at his place of work. His bail has been set at $500,000, and we must immediately come up with $2,500 in attorney fees just to begin building his defense. The speed and severity of this situation have left us frightened, unprepared, and struggling to keep up financially.
