Our dear friend Tai was recently deported to Vietnam — a country he hasn’t known since childhood. This sudden separation has been incredibly difficult, especially because he had worked so hard to turn his life around.

In recent years, he dedicated himself to growth, accountability, and serving others. He became a counselor, a steady presence, and someone who consistently lifted up the people around him. He was unexpectedly detained by ICE and sent away from the community he helped strengthen.

Now isolated in a foreign place with no resources or support network, he is starting from scratch. We are raising funds to help him cover basic needs — food, housing, transportation, and essentials — as he works to rebuild his life.
