Tabitha is a light in the lives of everyone who knows her—a caring, hardworking friend with a hilarious sense of humor and a heart that always puts others first. Recently, she survived a domestic violence incident in her home in which she was shot and seriously injured, and tragically lost a close friend who was with her. After emergency surgery and time in the ICU, she showed her usual incredible strength by returning to work just days after leaving the hospital.

While she's is currently safe and staying with family and friends, she faces significant challenges ahead. She needs to relocate to a new town for her safety and well-being which complicates accessing aid. She will of course require ongoing counseling and medical care to heal physically and emotionally. Tabitha has always been one to help others, and now she needs support from her community to rebuild and recover from this unimaginable tragedy.
