Help Support Tabitha Mayberry's Cancer Battle
Donation protected
Tabitha Mayberry, or “Bass” to those of us lucky enough to know her from her rugby playing days at ASU, is probably the single most inspirational person you will ever meet. At 21 she lost her ability to walk in a tragic car accident, but that didn’t slow her down in achieving her goals & living an extraordinary life. Tabitha holds a masters degree, is a speech therapist & small business owner, sits on the AIM board as an advocate for those with Autism, & is Ms Wheelchair Arkansas 2016. Many times I have been out in the community with Tabitha when she was stopped by a parent to thank her for the difference she made in their child’s life, their own life, & to tell her how that has trickled down to make a difference in so many other lives around them. Tabitha gives to the world every day & now she needs you to give a little back; because in August 2024 Tabitha was diagnosed with stage 2A breast cancer requiring surgery & radiation. For anyone this would be devastating news, but for Tabitha it’s going to be an extra difficult & lengthy recovery since she relies so heavily on her arms, & the cancer is on her dominate side. This will significantly impact her ability to work & as a small business owner, no work means no income. She’ll be facing high insurance & medical costs, & will need extra funds for things like delivery meals, transportation to & from appointments, help with pet care & cleaning. Please give what you can to help Tabitha. Many hands make light work, & many people giving what you can will help us achieve our goal. Thank you for taking the time to read Tabitha’s story.
