Synthesis Dance Theater: Where student creativity takes center stage!

We are a group of 30 passionate dancers – entirely run and choreographed by students – producing full dance showcases in all styles every winter and spring quarter. Over 30 dances are created and performed each year, meticulously crafted and brought to life by our own talented members. And it doesn't stop there! We also produce an annual student-choreographed promotional video, professional photoshoots to showcase our dancers, and other captivating creative projects.

Here's what fuels our fire: dedication. Each dancer pours their heart into both large and small group dances every quarter, committing at least 8 hours a week to hone their craft and tell their stories through movement.

With your support, you can:

Help us cover costume costs: Ensure that everyone can shine on stage, as costumes are typically paid out of pocket by our full-time students.
Reward artistic vision: Compensate our skilled photographers and videographers who bring our artistic ideas to life.
Fuel the journey: Ease transportation burdens and create unique experiences to build our bonds as a team and create unforgettable memories at UCLA.
