Support Symiara Jenkins' Doctorate Dream
Donation protected
Dear Friends, Family, Colleagues, and Sorors,
I hope this message finds you all well. I am writing to share an important milestone in Symiara Jenkins, academic journey and to humbly request your support as she works toward completing the final semester of her doctorate degree.
I am proud to call her my Soror and my friend. My mother always told me that education was wealth. Money can be taken away but your knowledge cannot. BIPOC have had many challenges to obtain this knowledge. Symiara has done the work, let’s collective help her through this challenge. She has worked extremely hard in her career. Please see some of her accomplishments

As a result she was awarded a Fellowship as a Leader of Color for Education Reform Now. She did such an amazing job that she was elected to be a Board Member in their inaugural Fellow Board. As an educator, I am in awe of her dedication and years of service. She is humble, and has taken her time to learn and be mentored for years. This commitment has lead her to leadership roles and it is commendable that she is in pursuit of a Doctorate to continue her support of our children and families through education.
As many of you know, pursuing a doctoral degree has been a lifelong dream of hers. It has been a journey filled with challenges, growth, and significant achievements. However, she is now at a critical juncture where financial resources are necessary to help her cross the finish line.
She has explored various funding options, including scholarships, grants, and loans, but still faces a financial gap that could hinder her ability to complete her degree on time. This is why I am reaching out to her beloved network for support. Your assistance, no matter how big or small, would greatly alleviate the financial burden and allow her to focus fully on my research and dissertation.
If you feel moved to contribute, please know that your support will have a profound impact on her ability to achieve this academic goal and the lives of all the students I plan to change.
Thank you for considering my request on her behalf. I am deeply grateful to be part of her network that values education, empowerment, and mutual support. Please help her continue to support our community, BIPOC children, and other future educators. I hope to one day join her in this pursuit of higher learning as well. Thank you in advance.
