Support Sylvie's Journey to Health and Recovery
Donation protected
Hi friends,
I’m reaching out to ask for help on behalf of Sylvie, my sweet rescue snake who’s facing a difficult health journey and needs urgent veterinary care to get back on track.
Sylvie came into my care after her previous owners could no longer look after her. Despite her rough start, she’s one of the most gentle, curious, and friendly snakes I’ve ever met. She loves to explore her enclosure, interact with people, and she genuinely seems to enjoy attention.
For the past few months, Sylvie has been dealing with a persistent unknown skin condition that’s interfering with her ability to eat on her own and shed properly. She hasn’t eaten on her own in seven months, and she’s starting to lose weight and energy. While her condition isn’t life-threatening at this point, it’s become serious and needs medical intervention to prevent it from progressing further.
Our vet has laid out a treatment plan that includes:
-Diagnostic imaging and lab tests to pinpoint the cause of her condition
-Daily antibiotic injections to fight infection and reduce inflammation
-Ongoing tube feedings (every 2–3 weeks) to maintain her nutrition and strength
-Follow-up visits and medications to manage symptoms and support recovery
The total cost for Sylvie’s care is $3,500, which will cover all diagnostics, treatments, feedings, and ongoing vet visits to help her heal over time.
What your donation will support:
-Specialized veterinary testing and procedures
-Daily medications and antibiotic injections
-Professional tube feedings until she can eat on her own
-Long-term medical care and recovery support
Sylvie is still bright, alert, and full of curious energy. She just needs the right medical care to turn things around. With your help, she has every chance of getting better and living a long, healthy life.
If you’re able to donate, every little bit helps and is deeply appreciated. If you can’t donate, please consider sharing Sylvie’s story.
Thank you so much for supporting Sylvie and giving her the chance she deserves.
