Hi, everyone! My name is Sylvia Anderson. I’m a fun-loving, outgoing 36-year-old special education teacher who adores my students—and my 15-year-old wiener dog, who’s been by my side through it all.

For the past few years, I’ve been battling end-stage kidney failure, and after a long wait, I finally got the call I’ve been hoping for—a kidney transplant is happening at the end of this month! While I’m beyond grateful for this life-changing opportunity, the journey ahead is challenging. I’ll be out of work for over two months as I recover, and the medical bills, medications, and everyday expenses will add up quickly.
