Support Sylvia's Journey to Recovery
Donation protected
Hello!
My name is Jayda, and I am asking for financial help for my grandmother and best friend, Sylvia. Sylvia has been in the hospital since the beginning of August. She was recently diagnosed with Buerger’s disease. This disease is a rare condition that affects blood vessels and causes them to swell, reduce blood flow, and ultimately shrivel. She has been in and out of the hospital since March. Sylvia has been in excruciating pain, and over the last few months has had multiple procedures to get parts of her foot amputated.
Unfortunately, the disease has only progressed and on September 15th, she will need her entire right leg amputated. Sylvia is devastated, as now her course of life has been made extremely difficult. After surgery, she will need extensive physical therapy and is hoping to receive an entire leg prosthetic.
I ask that you please donate, as even the smallest amounts can make a difference, to help with any medical expenses. Our family, specifically my mother, has been helping with recovery expenses but we can only afford so much. All funds will go to helping Sylvia overcome this journey. Thank you so much for your part in helping Sylvia.
UPDATE: Sylvia has now had her surgery and God did his job! She still had to get half of her leg amputated but they were able to save the top half!! She is now on her road to recovery. Again, please donate and share, even if it’s $1. Thank You❤️
