Help Sylvester Heal After a Life-Altering Motorcycle Accident

On Monday, February 9, our dear friend Sylvester was involved in a devastating motorcycle accident after a car suddenly stopped in the roadway, leaving him with almost no time to react. Despite trying to dodge the vehicle, the impact was unavoidable, and he was thrown to the ground. 

By the grace of God, Sylvester survived, but the injuries he sustained are severe and life-altering.

He suffered fractures to his tibia and fibula and underwent emergency surgery the very next day, where doctors placed a metal rod in his leg. He is currently in significant pain and facing a long, difficult road to recovery. At this time, he is unable to move around independently and is navigating this recovery while living alone.

At just 19 years old, Sylvester is full of life and has so much ahead of him. Right now, everything has been turned upside down. Because he cannot work and lives on his own, the financial pressure during this time is overwhelming.

We are raising funds to help relieve this burden so Sylvester can focus fully on healing.

• Physical therapy and rehabilitation

• Daily support needs during recovery
