Background: In summer of 2025, after years of waiting and navigating the convoluted process of military healthcare for transgender servicemembers, I was scheduled to undergo top surgery revisions covered by my military insurance. I had paid out of pocket for top surgery in 2020 under the first Military Trans Ban, and was deeply unsatisfied with the results. Unfortunately last June, along with most of my necessary care related to gender health, my surgery was cancelled due to Executive Order 14168.

I thought that by now I would be involuntarily separated under EO 14168, employed in another job, and moving on with my life. However, as this process drags on, I can't delay any longer and need to proceed with this surgery.

Goal: As the timeline for my transition from active duty is uncertain, I am hoping to raise funds before my 30th birthday on July 20th and enter this next decade . The total cost of my surgery is $11,000, and I am hoping to raise funds to help offset costs.
