Hi y’all! I’m Syd, a glass artist from Minneapolis, MN.

I began working with glass in late 2017, and absolutely knew I’d found my path. Since then, my life has become a pursuit of ever changing dreams.

Four years ago, my dream was to get a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree. Now, this past spring, I graduated from Kent State University with my BFA in Glass.

About a month ago, I discovered my next step that brought me here today.

Over the last 8+ years, glass has taken me to all corners of the continental United States. In April 2026 I will take my FIRST international trip to Murano & Venice, Italy! I will be taking a week long class with third generation Italian Maestro, Fabiano Zanchi!

I am looking to raise $4500 to help me cover the cost of class and my flight. The cost of the class includes housing, food, and materials.
