Hi, my name is Sydney, and I’m humbly asking for help during one of the most difficult and overwhelming times in my life.

I recently found out that I am 5 weeks pregnant, but doctors have told me that the embryo most likely will not survive with all that’s going on with me. On top of the emotional toll, I’m also battling serious health issues. I have extreme dental decay and cellulitis of the jaw — a severe infection that I’m fighting to keep from spreading to my bloodstream. I’ve been hospitalized since Saturday and I have been away from my babies since that time. It has left me in pain, unable to eat properly, and terrified about what could happen if it worsens. I might have to be transferred for emergency surgery at UC Davis.

Because of these health struggles, both Brandon and I have lost hours at work, which has only made it harder to stay afloat. The medical bills are going to start piling up, dental treatments are urgent, and childcare costs continue no matter how much income we’re missing especially when I’m back from all this if I make itttttt. Just kidding I’m hoping and praying. It feels like everything has hit at once, and I’m reaching out because I cannot do this alone.

I’m asking for help to raise money to cover:

• Medical bills and urgent dental treatment

• Childcare so I can focus on healing and working when I’m able

• Support while Brandon and I recover lost income from missed work
