Support Sydney's Journey to Recovery and Hope

Hello, I'm Rickey Barcheers. I'm starting this on behalf of my wonderful friend Sydney Thrailkill. Sydney and I have worked and traveled together for years in the salon industry. She had very exciting plans for her life this upcoming year, and unfortunately, about five weeks ago, she was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 34.

Not only is this a physically and emotionally challenging time for her, but as a hairstylist, this situation can present further complications. Having to be off work for rest and recovery and unable to generate income, still having to pay monthly bills, and the added monetary obligations of surgery, chemo, etc. can be financially devastating.

Cancer is awful; it's unfair; and it shouldn't be able to rob lives or deplete health and finances. Nobody is ever prepared for this sort of thing to happen. Even as prepared for everything as Sydney is, this one was out of left field. And she isn't the kind of person that would EVER ask for help. I basically begged her to allow a Go Fund Me to happen.

I'm so thankful for kind people - those who emerge in times like this to show love and compassion in ways they are able. She will need an abundance of financial assistance. So please help this beautiful, hard working, wonderfully talented lady stay afloat while she fights.
