Hello familia. Natalia, the dear abuela of the Mystical Yoga Farm, needs the support of our community. She lives in a small indigenous village on the shores of Lago Atitlán, Guatemala and has shared thirteen years of dedicated service with the Mystical Yoga Farm, an intentional community and retreat center nearby her village. Natalia touched the hearts of thousands of beings during the time she shared with the farm, and now she is retiring. Recently, while walking home from the farm, she fell and became injured. She is on the mend and soon will be walking, though she realized through this injury it is her time to retire.

Natalia has been a pillar for the farm, and we feel her absence profoundly. She brought a nurturing, loving and wise energy to the community. From her bright smile to her curiosity and from her shy side to her bold side, we love and appreciate all she is. We want to support her in this transition into retirement so that she is safe, nourished and healthy.

We (the MYF) wish to support Natalia for as long as possible, though we cannot do it alone financially. That is why we’ve come to GoFundMe; to raise $5,000 for Natalia’s well-being in retirement. We are matching 50% of all donations grown on GoFundMe, up to $2,500. (Regardless of funds raised Natalia will receive $5,000 from the MYF). This money will allow Natalia to have access to water, electricity, food, doctor visits and some comfort for at least the next three years.

Natalia is an incredibly strong woman, growing up in the years of extreme violence against her people in the 70s-90s and still today embodying a kind and caring spirit. All of the money Natalia has made while working at the MYF, she has spent taking care of herself and her family, which is why making the decision to retire was quite difficult for her. If Natalia has ever been there for you, shared a laugh with you, made you a fresh tortilla, or washed your clothes, please consider donating. Ella vive en un pueblo indigena en la orilla del Lago Atitlán, Guatemala y lleva trece años trabajando por Mystical Yoga Farm (MYF), una comunidad intencional y centro de retiros cerca de su pueblo. Natalia ha tocado el corazón de miles de seres durante su tiempo en la finca y ahora se retira. Hace poco, cuando volvía a casa de la finca, se cayó y se hizo daño. Está recuperándose y pronto volverá a caminar, pero ha decidido retirarse.
