Support Sweet Baker's Comeback Journey

We are Sweet Baker, and we have been serving the San Antonio community for 4 years. We specialize in a variety of pastries that include croissants and Puerto Rican pastries. Our bakery has maintained itself with the love and support each and every one of our customers have shown us. We are proud of how far we have come without bank loans or help, but we are at a time of need.

As most know, I, Stephanie, one of the pastry chefs, was in a car accident back in May, and things have gotten very hard. Angel was left alone with 3 shops on his own while I recovered for 3 months. Now that I have returned, we have tried to do everything in our power to maintain the shops open and restructure the business. It has been hard coming back after the accident as the injury to my right leg causes me to move slower, but I have pushed through and was happy to return to the kitchen. Angel and I have been going through it, but we don't want to give up.

One month ago, the tough decision of closing Dos Hermanos was made, and we decided that it was best to move forward with the downtown location and Nacogdoches locations. Right now, we are reaching out to the community that has shown us support in hopes that we can continue with this journey.

We don't want to give up on our dream, and we want to keep serving the beautiful community we have found here in San Antonio.
