Hello, my name is Sviatlana, and I am creating this fundraiser for my husband Barys, who was recently detained by ICE. Barys is the sole provider for our family and has always worked tirelessly to build a good life for us here in the United States.

He is a tennis coach, training both children and adults — from young beginners to local tournament players. His students and their families know him as a kind, patient, and dedicated mentor who inspires confidence and helps others grow through sport and discipline.

We have two children, ages 4 and 11, and his sudden detention has left our family heartbroken and struggling to stay afloat. Without him, it has become extremely difficult to manage everyday life — covering rent, food, and other basic needs.

Right now, a family friend who is an attorney is helping us with legal matters, and we hope to resolve this situation as soon as possible. Any additional support from this fundraiser will also help us prepare for future legal costs once they arise.

All funds from this campaign will go directly toward our family’s essential living expenses, including housing, food, children’s needs, and any unavoidable legal-related costs.
