My cousin, Sven Bell, is a lineman in western North Carolina. Last week, while working, he was electrocuted. He had to be airlifted to a burn unit in Georgia. 2/11 he had to have surgery to have both hands amputated. This is going to change everything for them. Sven has a wife and two children. Sven is the provider for his family. Right now, there are many things medically still uncertain for him. While he is in the best place he can be for him to have the best outcome, his wife still has to take care of their home and children. The hospital is a 4-hour drive for her, so that's going to take a lot of gas. They still have a mortgage and a vehicle to pay for, and all the things we need to survive! Before he comes homes she will need to have a lot of accommodations made so that he can be independent as this will help him to accept his new normal.
