Suzy is a 7-year-old rescue pitbull from Grants, NM. She was rescued one hour before her euthanization was scheduled at the local shelter. She was labeled "aggressive" and never really stood a chance. I was working at the shelter at the time she came in. She was pulled from a terribly abusive situation where she was beaten on many occasions and witnessed domestic violence. She came into the shelter scared and misunderstood.

Fast forward to today. She is the sweetest dog and loves everyone and other animals as well. She loves hiking, watching TV, car rides, and Nylabone Nubs.

She was recently diagnosed with skin cancer. I set this GoFundMe up in hopes of being able to pay for her lifesaving surgery to treat and remove the cancer. Her appointment is on Tuesday, December 30th, 2025.

Any little bit helps Suzy to live cancer-free through her golden years.

Any funds left over will be donated to an animal rescue (tbd).
