Our younger sister Suzy was recently diagnosed with colon cancer. After dealing with pain, severe fatigue and other symptoms for several months, she was able to undergo a colonoscopy that revealed a lemon-sized cancerous tumor. Immediately the hospital staff took her to surgery where they removed about 12 inches of her colon. Suzy has lost a great deal of weight throughout her illness and currently only weighs 94 pounds.
[Suzy with her daughter Lauren and grandchild]
She is in dire need of a course of chemotherapy and would appreciate your financial help so she can pay for the life-saving procedure for out-of-pocket costs. As you might imagine, she is also unable to work at this time, so she also needs help with putting food on the table and paying the family bills. Her husband Milton is a career steelworker who had to retire early due to severe and chronic back injuries.
Suzy is a mother of two and a proud grandmother. We wish for her to be around many years to come, so that she will be present and involved with her children and grandchildren as they journey through life's joys and challenges.
Any financial help for our sister Suzy that you could provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
