We are reaching out on behalf of our dear friend and long-time Malibu resident, Suzy Delaplane, who has been devastated by the recent Palisades fire. Tragically, she has lost everything—her home, her belongings, and the stability she worked so hard to build.

Suzy has been a cherished member of our community for decades, as well as a staple at Malibu Kitchen (until closing) for 22 years. Suzy is always lending a helping hand, sharing a warm smile, and embodying the resilient, generous spirit that makes Malibu so special. Now, she needs us.

Rebuilding a life after such a loss is overwhelming. Suzy is starting from scratch, and the journey ahead is long and daunting. With your support, we can help her cover immediate essentials like clothing, toiletries, and food, as well as long-term needs such as temporary housing, furniture, and the resources to get back on her feet.
