Being a black woman is tough.

I have had to prove myself through all aspects of my life most especially in my career. I work in a male-dominated industry in a male-supremacy country and as such, I constantly struggle to prove I deserve better pay and better roles. This is why a PhD means a lot to me.

My story isn’t a bed of roses, never was. All through my career, I witnessed the male creative colleagues, quickly gain ground in our industry, growing to senior roles while the females struggled to achieve those heights even though they had more wins. These females usually drop out and start their own businesses or change industries.

We need to change that narrative, and it starts with your support.

For years now, I have given back to society by conducting free training to help youths and women in Nigeria to live better lives, freelancing and also advocating for older motherhood.

My research is not just for me. It is also to help people gain an additional to empower themselves.

Unfortunately, I was lied to about getting a scholarship and this has put my family and I in financial hardship.

To cap it, I have stage 5 kidney disease and am in need of a transplant. I am active on a transplant list which has a 2 years waiting timeline hence the need to test family members as I might not have 2 years.

Your support will help me in testing family members who want to test if they are a match and possible donors plus the cause to get justice for my PHD.
