As many of her friends know, Suzette was involved in a devastating motorcycle accident on December 3rd. She was severely injured and spent one month in the hospital. She is home now, and will be undergoing intensive therapy and rehabilitation throughout the coming year. Due to the nature of her injuries, having broken her right hand and pelvis, she will be unable to work for a significant period of time (up to one year), either as a painter or as a yoga teacher. She is currently in a wheelchair, unable to walk.

Suzette is one of the most caring and generous people one could ever know. She is also fiercely independent and, at this stage of her life, fully responsible for meeting her own financial needs. As a single mother, this situation has placed an overwhelming financial burden on her shoulders. She would be using any contributions towards medical care which isn't covered by her insurance.
