Help Suzette Get a Life-Saving Liver Transplant

Hi, my name is Crystal Miller and myself and Holly Rollison (Myles Mom) are raising funds for my daughter Suzette Ramsey and her partner, Myles Scaglione, as they face an incredibly difficult and uncertain medical journey.

Suzette is just 31 years old. She was already recovering from a hospital stay for pneumonia when her health suddenly took a turn for the worse. On July 25th, Myles rushed her to the ER at Novant in Charlotte, NC when she was struggling to breathe. Suzette was admitted immediately, placed on a ventilator, and spent 7 terrifying days in the ICU fighting for her life.

Doctors discovered she had developed E. coli, sepsis, and multi-organ failure. We were told she might not survive.

Miraculously, Suzette pulled through.

Her kidneys and other organs slowly began to recover — but sadly, her liver did not. After over a month in the hospital, and multiple readmissions since then, Suzette now faces her biggest battle yet: she needs a liver transplant to survive.

Why We’re Asking for Help

Suzette hasn’t been able to work for nearly 4 months. Her partner Myles has been doing everything he can — working extra hours and also acting as her full-time caregiver. He’s never left her side.

Navigating complex insurance issues

Trying to find a liver transplant specialist to take her case so she can get accepted into a transplant center

Paying out of pocket for critical medications

Covering day-to-day expenses as medical bills continue to add up
