Support Suzanne's Fight

Friends, this is a tough one. A crowdfunding occasion that I, truly, am still in denial that I’m even having to organize.

It’s hard to put into words how much Suzanne means to her family and her many friends including myself. For over a decade, she’s been a beloved baker here in The Temecula Valley, creating beautiful cakes and cupcakes that have been at the heart of so many special moments in our community. Suzanne has built lasting relationships through her kindness, her creativity, and her unwavering generosity. She’s the type of person who always puts others before herself, going above and beyond for everyone she knows. She truly embodies what it means to be a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a selfless friend.

Within the past few weeks, Suzanne received the heartbreaking diagnosis of a rare, advanced stage cancer. She had hoped to take a short break from her bakery to focus on treatment, but it’s now clear that her time away will be longer and more difficult than expected. Her husband, Bill, has unexpectedly become the sole provider, but also missing significant time from work himself to care for Suzanne and drive her to many appointments in San Diego. They are facing a tough road ahead—physically, emotionally, and financially.

If you know Suzanne, you know she is the last person to ask for help—and often the first to offer it. She has always preferred to do the helping, quietly and wholeheartedly.

I’m starting this GoFundMe on her behalf—because I know she won’t ask. I also know there are so many loyal fans of “Suzanne’s Bakery” and dear friends who would love the chance to support her during this time of need.

Every donation, no matter the size, will help ease the burden and allow Suzanne and her family to focus on healing. Let’s rally around her with the same love and care she’s always given to so many of us.
