Hello! My name is Dan and on the evening of Friday August 16th my pals and I were out for another pals birthday at Lionheart on the Green in Albany when a terrible event occurred. A grey female pit bull was hit by not just one but TWO cars. If you are wondering how this could have happened despite all the human involvement and care people were showing after the first hit, I can say that even being there doesn't really explain it. So, in the spirit of brevity I will spare you all of my non-details but what I can tell you is in spite of all of this trauma, the dog has SURVIVED! A great guy and friend named Peter Lavery went above and beyond in assisting a woman named Suzanne Clark in getting the dog to an emergency vet. Suzanne spent $2700 of her own money to get this dog the help it needed and I was hoping to raise an additional $1300 for ABC Rescue who currently has possession of the dog and has made her adoptable! Since there were no tags or collar, she has been renamed by the rescue as SQUINTS!
SO! In conclusion, please toss whatever you can and maybe even ADOPT SWEET SQUINTS
