On December 29, 2020, Suzanne is having surgery to repair a broken scaphoid bone in her wrist.


She will be out of work for 4 to 6 weeks, per doctor's orders.


Disability will kick in after a couple of weeks and her job is protected, but she will receive reduced pay while she is out.


She will have no use of her left hand during her recovery period at home, so she expects to need to make more frequent use of takeout meals.


The funds raised will go towards filling the shortfall in income as well as increased food costs.
