My name is Julio Hernandez and I'm making this GoFundMe on behalf of my little sister, Susan Hernandez, who was recently hit by a car while crossing the street in Fairfield, Ca.

Due to this unexpected accident, Susy is now facing significant medical surgeries, ongoing treatment, as well as our Mom talking time away from work as she will be helping her in this long road to recovery. As many of you know, accidents like this don't just take a physical toll - they also bring overwhelming financial stress from medical bills, rehabilitation, medications, and everyday living expenses. Unfortunately Susy wasn't under any insurance at the time of her accident, so we don't know what hurdles will come with that.

Our family is doing everything we can to support her, but we cant do it alone.
