Hi everyone, my name is Allison. I'm setting up this Go Fund me up for someone that would never ask for any help but more than deserves a helping hand. Susie is my husband, Ryan's aunt and I met Susie for the first time in October 2025 at my brother-in-law's wedding. It wasn't long after meeting her that I became aware of her journey with inflammatory breast cancer and what an amazing person she is. For those that may not personally know Susie - she's fierce, funny, and has a heart of gold.
Susie was diagnosed in June 2023 with stage 3b HER2-positive inflammatory breast cancer in her left breast. Following diagnosis, she completed 6 rounds of systemic chemotherapy, mastectomy of the left breast, 14 rounds of targeted chemotherapy with immunotherapy, and endured 44 rounds of radiation to the chest wall and armpit. In December 2024 she then started a year long medication to prevent spread of cancer to the brain.
I had the pleasure of spending more time with Susie in MD, when she and Uncle Brad visited for our December 2025 wedding. It was during this time that I truly started to understand all that she has endured, while maintaining such a positive attitude. I remember Susie being ecstatic to be nearing the end of her treatment and to finally be receiving reconstructive surgery in a few months.
A few weeks before her surgery, a PET scan and further testing revealed that her cancer had returned - lesions on the brain, lung, liver, and spine. Her current diagnosis is stage 4 metastatic inflammatory breast cancer.
No one should have to endure this diagnosis. No one should have to spend their 40s fighting for their life. No one should have health insurance and still wonder how they're going to afford to live.
Susie is determined to do anything and everything possible because she still "has a lot more living left to do." Doing anything and everything means multiple treatments and expenses. One of her oral chemo treatments alone comes with a sickening $8k/month co-payment.
Both Susie and her husband Brad are very generous people and have committed most of their lives to serving their community as police officers. Please help me give back to two deserving people so they can focus on getting healthy. All funds will be given directly to Brad and Susie for healthcare expenses to support Susie's cancer journey. If you cannot personally contribute right now, please consider sharing her story.
Susie is also sharing her story via her TikTok account. Here's the link: Susie's Story
