Hi everyone, this is our family dog, Sushi. She’s a Pomeranian mix and we adopted her from VCAS. Sushi is a very energetic dog. Every time we come home from work, she welcomes us enthusiastically. She loves to sit by the front door or window and bark at everyone she sees. She loves following us around everywhere, is very affectionate, and always looks at us lovingly. She’s spoiled rotten in our home as she is our mom’s third child. She’s diagnosed with IMTP (immune-mediated thrombocytopenia). It’s been a few days now and she still barely eats and drinks. She tries her best to take her medications though. She underwent a lot of laboratory tests and ultrasounds, and today her veterinarian recommended that she should have a blood transfusion and be admitted for a few days. My family and I are asking if you guys can help us with her medical expenses. They said her blood transfusion alone could cost $4k to $5k and she’ll be admitted for at least 48 hours. We love her so dearly and we want to do everything we can for her. We want to see her full of energy, full of life, and full of joy again.
