Susana worked with Georgetown Cleaning Facilities for nearly 10 years and was recently fired for reasons that many of us students believe were unjust. She is a single mother from El Salvador raising two daughters on her own, and her job was her family’s primary source of income. Right now, she is facing the overwhelming stress of trying to cover rent and other essential expenses without a steady paycheck. The loss of her job has placed her in a very vulnerable financial position, and she urgently needs support
Susana worked on Harbin floors 2 and 3, where she became an essential and beloved part of our community. She is adored by students for her warmth and generosity. She is always singing in the hallways, making friendly conversation, bringing us snacks during long study nights, and checking in on how we are doing. Her kindness, positivity, and incredible work ethic never go unnoticed by students. She works extremely hard and treats everyone with care and respect.
Any contribution, no matter how small, would make a meaningful difference for her and her daughters. Your support will help Susana keep her home and provide for her family during this difficult time. Thank you for standing with her.
