As a widow and the sole caregiver for our elderly mother, Susan has already been carrying an immense load, providing round-the-clock care with unwavering dedication. Now, with her home in ruins, she faces even greater uncertainty and hardship.

Known to many as “Miss Susan,” she has spent years as a dance teacher in the Asheville area, nurturing the passions of hundreds and offering her students more than just lessons—she gave them confidence, joy, and a sense of belonging. We are raising funds to purchase waterproof containers to protect what’s left of her belongings from further damage, help her secure a storage unit, and help contribute to the rebuild of her home.
