This fundraiser has been created on behalf of Susan Leone by Michele Leone, her sister and best friend, and her amazing son, Brian. For most of her adult single life, Susan has worked as a nurse, caring for others during some of the most challenging moments of their lives. Susan also has a 15-year-old daughter. Today, she finds herself in a position where she needs help. Over the past year, Susan has faced a series of unexpected challenges, including ongoing medical issues, a significant loss of income, and mounting legal expenses related to ongoing family matters. At the same time, several long-term nursing cases that provided her primary source of income came to an end, creating financial hardship that has become increasingly difficult to overcome. As someone who has always valued independence and privacy, asking for help is not easy for Susan. She has spent her career caring for others and has always done her best to support herself and her family. However, there are times in life when even the strongest people need a helping hand. Funds raised will be used for legal expenses, medical costs, basic living expenses, and to help her remain financially stable while she works to rebuild her income and navigate the challenges ahead.
