Hello Family & Friends,

I am starting this GoFundMe on behalf of my grandmother, Susan Dee Brainard. Susan was a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, friend, and coworker. I am very saddened to say that she passed away from major stroke complications on November 16th, 2025.

My grandma did not want a funeral service; instead, she preferred her memory to be celebrated as she was on Earth. As a vibrant, compassionate, kind-hearted, generous, hilarious, successful, and beautiful woman. My grandma gave tirelessly to those she loved and even to those she did not know. Her love was felt in everything she did and will be felt in everything she left behind.

The proceeds from this fundraiser will go directly to her cremation, burial, and remembrance at Holy Cross Cemetery in Colma, CA. The remaining funds will be allocated to outstanding affairs (bills, credit cards, etc.). Any donation, no matter the size, is greatly appreciated and eases the stress of this process.
